nupps (rhymes with “oops!”)

so here i am knitting a swallowtail shawl (ravelry link) for work. i’ve knit one before, successfully. i started late friday night, and i’ve been going strong ever since. i thought i was going to have it done by the end of the week.

tonight, i got through the first lily of the valley border repeat and i realize, something’s wrong. can you tell?

ok, why did i not notice that chart 3A and 3B are two halves of the same row?!

i’m going to put this down for a little while. ripping out all those nupps is going to make me crazy.
