belated socks for bethany
so you might remember that my friend bethany and i were doing a sock trade, but she actually stuck to a normal timeline and, predictably, i let deadline knitting and inertia get in the way of my half of the trade. well, i finally picked up that size 00 needle and finished these suckers up! and i am totally relieved to say that they are now in bethany’s possession.
these are a basic, toe-up sock in the agave colorway of pigeonroof studios original sock; one of my only purchases from stitches west. i started these at the show, and finished all but the top ribbing on the airplane ride home. then, i let them sit because i wanted to go down a needle size for 8 rows before i bound off. this was not smart! stitches west was in february? march? and it’s august. bethany could have had her socks MONTHS ago. sorry!
anyway, here’s another picture. in it, you can see my cat (who is white and blurry but not actually a ghost), whose name is noodle, attacking my feet while i try to get a shot of these. don’t worry, i washed them before i sent them on their way!
